Bethany and Jorge decided to make Western New York the destination for their November wedding. They traveled to Olean (along with a lot of Jorge’s family and friends) all the way from Texas to start their lives together in places that are very special to Bethany. We traveled to many of those locations throughout the day…her family’s beautiful home, the historic Bartlett House of Olean, the Freshfire Worship Center where her uncle serves as Pastor, and finally off to the Seneca Allegany Casino for a fun, Gatsby-themed party.
Bethany’s gorgeous makeup was to die for–and done by herself (she’s super-talented…), while Halie Frazier, of Elysian Salon in Olean, did absolutely incredible work on everyone’s hair. Bethany looked every bit as Old Hollywood-glamorous as a Gatsby inspired wedding called for. In keeping with that vintage theme, the Bartlett House in Olean was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s first look before heading out to the Freshfire Worship Center in Westons Mills for a unique and very moving ceremony.
The Seneca Allegany Casino was an outstanding venue for the reception–with endless options for picture opportunities and a very friendly staff, my job was cake! Speaking of cake and all of the other details that make a party great, Two Ladies and a Party event planners had the reception hall looking very Art Deco and fabulous when we arrived. They used lots of little details to complete the 1920’s theme.
Perhaps the very BEST part of the day was how incredibly friendly and gracious everyone was–not only Bethany and Jorge, but their wedding party, family, and guests, too. We had so much fun with these wonderful people, and will always fondly remember being a part of their day. The love that Bethany and Jorge showed each other and the support they received from their families, leaves no doubt in my mind of how wonderful their lives are sure to be. Congratulations, again, Mr. and Mrs. Bernal! We wish you the very best in all of the coming years.
Experience Bethany and Jorge’s day through their Fusion Slideshow of their Art Album, below. Along with help from Rachel at The Letter Pink, who designed three very intricate Art Deco graphic designs to embellish their book, as well as all of their little graphic details you can see throughout their album spreads, we designed a gorgeous book for them to remember their beautiful wedding for years to come. All of our Art Albums are made made in Italy out of the finest materials (and a lot of love)! Pictures of Bethany and Jorge’s stunning, custom book will be posted soon!
